Soon I will be leaving on a world trip for the purpose of recording all manner of strange sounds. This site is meant to be a record of those sounds and the events surrounding them.
The plan, or the negative outline of it, is to record anything that is of interest or of a singular quality. Examples of what I’m looking for include traditional, experimental, and fusion music, while not excluding found sound, street performers and basically anything else that is interesting.
In the future, I don’t plan in having many text posts because the music is the main thing. However, if you are interested in the circumstances of the recording or the state of my travels, I will be doing some writing under the comments section.
If any of you out there know of something that should be recorded let me know.
